The Manitou Group is committed to ensuring that 80% of its suppliers (in procurement volume) have received the Manitou Sustainable Procurement Charter, that CSR is integrated into major Requests For Tender and that suppliers representing 50% of procurement volume (production & parts) are assessed on ESG issues by 2018.

The mission

Formalised and conducted a training/awareness-raising workshop on ESG auditing for all buyers (France and International).

This assignment enabled Manitou’s buyers to identify the main ESG issues in the supplier audit questionnaire and to define the visual and documentary checks to be carried out during audits.

  • Explained the context of ESG supplier audits: standards, legislation, practices of other companies, etc.
  • Made buyers aware of their essential role as guarantors of the company’s Duty of Vigilance
  • Conducted an interactive workshop with buyers to help them understand the audit’s ESG issues
